Ingredients
🥬 500 g cabbage
🥕 1 carrot
🧅 2 onions
🧄 3 cloves of garlic
🥚 3 eggs
🌾 4 tbsp flour – 60g
🧂 1 tsp salt
🌶️ 1 tsp paprika
🌶️ 1 tsp black pepper
🛢️ Vegetable oil
🥄 3 tablespoons Greek yogurt
🌿 2 sprigs of dill
🥒 1 grated pickled cucumber
🧄 1 clove of garlic
🌶️ 1/3 tsp paprika
Instructions
1- Prepare the Cabbage:
Finely chop the cabbage and place it in a pot.
Cover with boiling water and cook for 5 minutes.
Drain and let the cabbage cool.
2- Vegetable Sauté:
Finely chop the onions and grate the carrot.
Heat a pan with vegetable oil and sauté the onions for 3-5 minutes until translucent.
Add the grated carrot, pressing 2 garlic cloves into the pan, and continue frying for a few more minutes.
3- Mix the Pattie Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the cooled cabbage, cracked eggs, sautéed onions and carrots, flour, salt, paprika, and black pepper.
Mix until all ingredients are combined well.
4- Form and Cook the Patties:
Heat vegetable oil in a pan.
Form small patties with the cabbage mixture, using a spoon to smooth the edges.
Fry each patty for about 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Place the cooked patties on a plate and repeat with the remaining mixture.
5- Prepare the Sauce:
Finely chop the dill and grate the pickled cucumber.
In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, chopped dill, grated cucumber, a pinch of salt, and press in 1 garlic clove.
Mix thoroughly to combine.
6- Serve:
- Serve the cabbage patties with a generous dollop of dill yogurt sauce on the side.
