Cheesy Baked Stuffed Pasta with Cherry Tomatoes and Mozzarella

Indulge in a delightful pasta dish that's filled with surprises in every bite. This cheesy baked stuffed pasta combines the sweetness of cherry tomatoes and the creamy goodness of mozzarella. Topped with basil-water, chunky beef marinara, and a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese, it's a comforting meal that's easy to prepare yet full of flavor. Ingredients

🍝 12 large pasta shells

🍅 24 cherry tomatoes

🧀 24 small mozzarella balls

🌿 2 tablespoons basil, finely chopped

🥫 2 cups chunky beef marinara sauce

🧀 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

🧂 1 teaspoon salt

🥄 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

🧴 1 tablespoon olive oil

💧 1/2 cup water


Instructions

1- Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).


2- Prepare the Pasta:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

  • Add the pasta shells and cook for about 8 minutes, or until al dente.

  • Drain the pasta and toss with olive oil to prevent sticking.


3- Stuff the Pasta:

  • Take each cooked pasta shell and stuff it with one cherry tomato and one mozzarella ball. Repeat until all shells are filled.


4- Prepare the Sauce Mix:

  • In a small bowl, mix the finely chopped basil with water.


5- Assemble the Dish:

  • In a baking dish, spread half of the chunky beef marinara sauce evenly.

  • Arrange the stuffed pasta shells over the sauce.

  • Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.

  • Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the shells and drizzle with the basil water.

  • Top everything with the shredded mozzarella cheese.


6- Bake:

  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.

  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and melty.


7- Serve:

  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
