Ingredients
For the Custard Mix:
π₯ 50 ml Milk
π₯ 1 tbsp Vanilla custard powder
For the Pudding:
π₯ 450 ml Milk
π 5 tbsp Sugar
π 3 slices of Bread, sliced
πΆ 100 ml Fresh cream
π₯ 1/4 cup Condensed milk
π° Almonds, for garnish
π₯ Pistachios, for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Custard Mix:
- In a small bowl, combine 50 ml of milk and 1 tablespoon of vanilla custard powder. Stir well to ensure there are no lumps.
2. Cook the Custard:
Place a kadai (or deep pan) over medium heat and pour in 450 ml of milk. Bring the milk to a boil.
Once boiling, add 5 tablespoons of sugar and the prepared custard mix.
Stir continuously, allowing the mixture to simmer for 4-5 minutes until it thickens. Set aside to cool and beat well for 3-5 minutes.
3. Assemble the Pudding:
In a tray, lay down slices of bread as the base layer. Pour half of the custard milk mixture over the bread, ensuring it is evenly soaked.
Add another layer of sliced bread, then pour the remaining custard milk mixture on top.
4. Add Cream Mixture:
In a bowl, mix 100 ml of fresh cream with 1/4 cup of condensed milk.
Pour this cream mixture over the bread and custard layers, spreading it evenly across the tray.
5. Garnish and Set:
Garnish the top with a generous sprinkle of almonds and pistachios.
Allow the pudding to set in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
6. Serve:
- Once set, serve this delightful pudding cool with a loving touch. Enjoy!
